Eating
Of course, we have to start with food. Our "go to" restaurant looked like it might put a huge dent in our wallet just from the fancy decor inside but we did a complete double take at the menu when we saw how inexpensive it really was.
Our friends Jeff and Lumi introduced us to Casa Diverso over six months ago (https://www.facebook.com/pages/Casa-Diverso/273920516091253?fref=ts)
and we have been going there regularly ever since.
This Mediterranean/Italian/Thai fusion restaurant is quickly gaining the reputation as one of the top eateries in the city. Khun Oh and Chef Lek are the beautiful couple that own this establishment and make everyone who walks through the door feel like family. Their professional staff will cater to your every dining need. Pampering
This massage shop, which is very near our condo, has been a place of relaxation for Randy. It is located on Sritana Road, which connects to our street, Sirimankalajarn Soi 1. Foot/Thai one hour massages are only 150 baht ($4.30) and an oil one hour massage is a mere 290 baht ($8.30). This is not a full-on spa treatment, but Khun Tian (owner) is trained and certified and has one of the best deals in town. Regulars receive a free massage after 10 treatments. At these prices you can afford to have one almost every day!
